Now i know we are months away from that time of the year but it does help to start making gifts earlier in the year.

Once i got started though i changed my mind and decided to use white yarn for the font as opposed to red. Pattern is written in us crochet terminology. Crochet all the way down and around the heart and up the opposite side. Blo back loop only.

I also added a scallop border. My favorite time of the year is the winter season especially the holiday season. Leave enough space to fit your hand into the pillow and fill it with poly fil. Place the two panels together matching up all sides.

This pattern includes instructions for two sizes of heart pillows. Perfect for a fun throw pillow for a chair or bed or for a little one to rest their head on while reading. When you are happy with how the pillow is filled out finish single crocheting the two pieces together. These crochet heart pillows are fun to make and are so soft and squishy when they are finished.

Chain 1 and single crochet the two heart pieces together through the single crochet stitches on the borders. I was originally going to design the pillows to look like candy conversation hearts. At the end of each row the number of stitches for completion is noted in parenthesis. Starting on the left side at the top begin attaching the panels together by chaining one and single crocheting around the outside of the panels in blossom using two strands.

You ll need worsted weight yarn and a 4 5mm crochet hook. The smaller pillow measures 8 wide x 7 5 tall. You should now have two completed heart panels like so. The plaid pillow with heart is a free crochet pattern and made using single crochet stitches and the plaid crochet pattern technique.
